Birds of prey and whisky tasting

Afternoon: Travel to Gleneagles Hotel. Direct train access from London in just 5 hours on daily flights from London to Edinburgh and Glasgow. Gleneagles is a 45mins drive from Edinburgh airport . Complimentary transfers are available.

After checking-in you’ll enjoy a private 90-minute birds of prey flying demonstration by the team from the British School of Falconry, based on the estate. The spectacular demonstration includes eagles, hawks and falcons, with an opportunity for guests to handle and fly Harris hawks.
After all the exertion, you’ll return to the hotel for a welcome whisky tasting and no doubt a wee dram. There’s time to relax before dinner.

Evening: This evening, dinner will be taken in a private room or in one of the hotel’s restaurants. After dinner retreat to the brand new American Bar –  the hotel’s most glamorous, opulent and exclusive space – has seen the revival of a bar that was part of the hotel’s original offering in the age of decadence. Enjoy an exceptional collection of cocktails inspired by the roaring ’20s in this intimate environment.

You can improve your tennis at the state-of-the-art indoor tennis centre, or experience the unique pleasure of working with the Gleneagles Gundog School’s magnificent and highly trained labradors. Last but not least, you can take a cycle ride into some of the most majestic countryside in Scotland.
