A geothermal spa located in a lava field, the Blue Lagoon is iconic of Iceland. Milky turquoise waters are fed from the Svartsengi geothermal plant. The water is a perfect 38°c and rich in blue-green algae, mineral salts and silica mud. Bathers smooth the mud over their skin for the ultimate results. This is an essential part of any trip to Iceland.
